Below is a recap of felony charges filed in Dunn County, Wisconsin, during the week of Jan. 15-21, 2026.

Cobain Sage Nelson (09-2004), of Menomonie, has been charged with Bail Jumping-Felony (Repeater) for an offense that allegedly occurred on Jan. 16, 2026.

Under that same case, Nelson also faces misdemeanor charges of Bail Jumping-Misdemeanor (Repeater); Battery (Repeater, Domestic Abuse - Infliction of Physical Pain or Injury); and Disorderly Conduct (Repeater, Domestic Abuse).

Nelson has been ordered to have no contact with [redacted]*, and not to possess or consume alcohol nor enter any bars, taverns, or liquor stores.

A $1,000.00 cash bond was set. Nelson's next court appearance for Dunn County Case Number 2026CF000010 is scheduled for April 21, 2026.

In a separate case, Nelson is currently being held at the Pierce County, Wisconsin, jail on charges of 2nd Degree Sexual Assault of a Child; Child Enticement-Sexual Contact; and Possession of Child Pornography.

Amanda J. Berman (DOB 08-1999) of Eau Claire was charged with Bail Jumping-Felony, for an offense that allegedly occurred on Nov. 14, 2025.

Berman's next court appearance is scheduled for Feb. 10, 2026.

James M. Upthegrove (DOB 12-1981) of Iron River, Wisconsin, was charged with Theft-Written Lease >$5,000-$10,000.

Upthegrove's next court appearance is scheduled for March 10, 2026.
